Sacmi FFS of Italy, part of the SACMI Group of companies, has over 25 years’ experience in the manufacture of packaging machinery for food and convenience products, especially for the Dairy Food industry.
Sacmi FFS specialise in the design, construction and supply of state-of-the-art Horizontal Form-Fill-Seal machines, which are custom engineered to suit individual customer requirements.
The range of equipment for the thermoforming of cups, containers and mini-portions, is available in Hygienic, Ultra Hygienic and Fully Aseptic version.
Packages are constructed of mono- or multi-layered plastic material, with lids of aluminium, paper, plastic or multi-layered materials in a variety of opening systems.
Machine models are available to suit a range of outputs and applications, from 3,000 to 100,000 containers per hour.
Sacmi FFS’s unique Integrated Sleeve Applicator (ISA) uses innovative technologies to apply a tubular plastic sleeve (printed in up to 8 colours) to the cup wall by heat shrink process, which results in an aesthetically pleasing container, with a high quality finish, in place of a traditional paper label.
