Colombian Drinks Giant impressed with SIPA Sincro TriBloc

SIPA of Veneto, Italy, a global leader of Stretch Blow Moulding & Filling  Machines for the production of PET bottles, have installed a Sincro TriBloc machine for a subsidiary of South American drinks giant Ajegroup, at their Bogota plant in Colombia.

The Ajegroup (headquartered in Madrid Spain) is present in over 20 countries with 12,000+ employees and is dedicated to the production, distribution and sales of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They sell in excess of three billion litres of beverages a year and bottle approximately 50 million packs per day.

The SIPA range of machines are a popular choice for the Ajegroup and they have already installed a number of blow moulding machines and bottling lines at their other plants in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Thailand.

The Sincro TriBloc is an innovative system that incorporates the blowing, labelling, filling and capping of PET containers. It was selected because of its very compact footprint, as space at the Bogota plant was at a premium. The Sincro Bloc can save up to 55% of space compared to traditional lines.

The machine now processes the “Agua Cielo” range of non-sparkling mineral water. The 500ml and 1.5L bottles are processed at speeds of up to 24,000 bottles per hour.
