OCME win award for supply of packaging machinery line to Shell Tianjin China

OCME S.r.l. from Parma Italy, a world leader in packaging, filling, handling and palletising systems for the consumer products industry, received an award for being an ‘Excellent Supplier’ from Shell Tianjin China, after they supplied a complete filling line for their new lubricating oil packing line.

Shell Tianjin is one of the major suppliers of lubricated oil in China, and recently expanded their production facilities which involved their refining process, warehouse and filling and packaging lines.

OCME was the sole supplier for the filling and packaging lines. The installation included a 4 litre bottling line with a Libra R5 20 P314 rotary weight filler which is being used to fill 4 litre jerrycans at a speed of 6,000 bph. They also supplied a Dorado LF – low level depalletiser and Pegasus robot palletiser for cartons.

The new facilities will see Shell Tianjin increase their production from 130,000 ton / hour to 180,000 ton/hour by the end of 2011.
