Moss release new ACCUR-8  screen printing machine for tubes

Moss from Reggio Emilla, Italy, have released the ACCUR-8 silk screen printing machine for flexible tubes, available with printing of up to 9 colours.

The machine has a 24 station rotating turret with indexed movement and has up to 9 printing modules. The machine is able to print 9 colours or 8 colours plus lacquering and has a speed of 120 pieces / minute, with a +/- 0.1mm accuracy. Containers can be up to 60mm in diameter and 220mm in length.

The ACCUR-8 has an automated loading and unloading device, automatic register and ‘no container – no printing’ devices inbuilt. The register device allows for the centring of decorations according to existing printing. Double squeegee’s for both printing and ink recovery, with mechanic controls for lifting at the end of the printing allow for wrap- around decorations with perfect overlapping.

UV sealed lamps are installed to reduce the emission of heat, and water cooled lamps are also available.

There is an option for hot stamping decorations available.
