Kompass cappers chosen by Sanofi Aventis

Kompass S.r.l. of Roverbella, Milan have successfully installed three of their PF 6 head capper machines for plastic pre-threaded and plastic pressure caps at the Sydney plant of Sanofi Aventis, a world leader in Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Healthcare products and Vaccines.

The Kompass PF pre-threaded capping machines are suitable for treating all types of screw caps. The ‘Pick & Place’ distribution systems on the machines have positive grippers which makes them suitable for even the most difficult closures. The machines installed at Sanofi Aventis have a line speed of 7,200 bph and were integrated onto their existing production lines.

The pre-threaded capping machines are equipped with adjustable heads with magnetic clutches that allow the customers to vary the torque during tightening and are a popular choice of machine in the beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Kompass offer capping machines in both free standing and turret versions which are suitable for a range of closures such as pressure, plastic screw, aluminium and crown caps. The range is divided into single-head and multi head versions and utilises brushless motors which permit total control via touch screen and are suitable for use within sterile environments as they contain laminar flows, U.V. lamps and H˛O˛ sanitizing systems
