Krauss Maffei Injection Moulding Machinery chosen by Large
European Automotive Components Supplier |

Krauss Maffei of Munich Germany, a world leader in plastics machinery have
been selected by the IAC Group, a leading global supplier of automotive
components and systems, to equip their new production plant in Bals
(Romania) with their state of the art Injection Moulding Machinery.
They were selected due to their outstanding expertise in Automotive
injection moulding and polyurethane technology. |

The new €58 million, 15,000m² facility in Bals (Romania) will produce
instrument panels, door panels, headliners and other interior trim
components to support Ford Motor Company’s production of two new
passenger cars.
As sole supplier for plastics technologies, Krauss Maffei will supply 28
Injection Moulding machines from 500 to 3,200 tonnes clamping force,
plus systems for polyurethane foaming and punching. |

The double digit million dollar sale will see Krauss Maffei supply and
assemble the machines and moulds, develop, plan and design the product
elements and provide other services as part of the order.
