Krauss Maffei expands production capacity in 3 countries

Krauss Maffei of Munich Germany, a world leader in plastics machinery has recently expanded their production plants in Slovakia, China and Germany, to meet global customer demand for their Injection Moulding Machinery.

The production plant in Schwaig, Germany was officially opened this week and has extended the assembly area from 670 to 1,720m˛. This production plant will be used to manufacture Robots and Automation systems for the company’s range of Injection Moulding Machinery.

Work has also begun on the expansion of production plants in Martin (Slovakia) and Haiyan (China), and the plants will be fully operational at the beginning of 2013. The Haiyan plant will increase from 12,000m˛ to 22,000m˛ and the Martin plant from 6,600m˛ to 13,000m˛. The expansion will double current production at both production plants. The Haiyan plant will manufacture the MX series of Injection Moulding machines, and the Martin plant will manufacture the AX and EX series, as well as switch cabinets and moulds.
