Krauss Maffei to exhibit at ChinaPlas 2010 |

Krauss-Maffei GmbH of Munich Germany, a world leader in plastics machinery will exhibit at the No.1 Asian Plastics exhibition, ChinaPlas – which is to be held in Shanghai China from the 19th to the 22nd of April, 2010. |

Krauss Maffei have chosen to showcase a multi-component injection moulding solution, named ‘Multinject’, and will be demonstrating 2C (two component) technology on a compact injection moulding machine from the CX range. The CX-V 300-2000/380 ‘Multinject’ machine will be producing reading lenses with protective covers in an in-mould assembly process.
The second injection unit, which is ideal for multi-component moulding in the automotive and electronic sectors, was chosen due to its small footprint and its ability to be easily integrated into existing factory logistics.

| The unit which is from the medium clamp range production cell is positioned vertically and has a rotary plate on the moving platen which moves the injection moulded substrate to the second station. This solution is especially compact, as the peripheral equipment can be located underneath the clamp. | |
