TandemMould®, is a unique German designed ‘licensed open source’ technology which enables injection moulding manufacturers to double the production output of parts from one injection moulding machine in situations where the plastic part typically has a long cooling cycle and where the injection processing time is less than half of the total machine cycle time.

On a TandemMould® cell, two machine controlled tool halves work alternately and independent of one another in one standard injection moulding machine that has been enabled for use with TandemMould®.

Using a unique bayonet locking system the TandemMould® design ensures precision mould clamping for each component’s independent cycle.
