SIAD was established in 1927 in Bergamo, northern Italy from the enthusiasm for chemistry and mechanics of Quirino and Bernardo Sestini

The exploitation of their patents, dedicated to the storage and transport of acetylene in perfect safety, soon turned into the manufacture and sale of oxygen, nitrogen, argon and related mixtures, to then expand later into the manufacture of plants, compressors and pumps for cryogenic gases.

Today, SIAD have offices throughout Italy and Europe and are one of the leaders in supply of High Pressure Compressors (from 40 bar up to 250 bar). They are specialists in the supply of oil free air for PET bottle manufacture and Industrial Gas production.
